Builders and designers throughout the Southeast received the prestigious Aurora Awards during an industry gala/spectacular held on August 2^nd at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Northwest Florida Custom Builder West Calhoun, of West Calhoun Construction, garnered five Aurora Awards for the majestic American Green Dream Home that was featured in the 2008 Parade of Homes in the Nature Trail Subdivision in Pensacola.

“It is certainly a tremendous honor to be recognized by the Aurora Awards Committee for the work on the Green Dream Home,” said Calhoun, who is the immediate past president of the Home Builders Association of West Florida.  “A lot of hard work went into the planning and building of this home, and it could not have been done with out a true team effort from everyone involved.”
